Izzy is 1!

Isabelle is 1! We had her birthday party last weekend in Baton Rouge at Becca's house. It was very HOT outside and Izzy was in a VERY bad mood all day. She could have cared less about the party. She would only go to me or Matt. She was very whiny and cried most of the day. Izzy didn't really care for the cake, but she tore up the icecream. After everyone left she was all of a sudden in a great mood and ready to play. Typical! My best friend Lauren and her baby Caroline surprised us at the party. They live in North Carolina..I had NO idea they were coming. It was the best part of the day.

Izzy has been walking for about a month now. She is all over the place. She can wreck an entire house in no time. She really likes moving the kitchen chairs around the house. No new words. She still says "good girl", "mmm" for moo and "ca" for quack. Along with "dada" and "mom". She knows certain commands, "where's your milk" and "where's lamberkins" (her favorite toy) When I ask those questions she stops what she is doing and goes to find them. That's about it for now.
