Emma Claire is 1!

Emma Claire is 1! I can't believe she is already one. We had lots of fun at her party. She was really in to the strawberries, what a mess. Let's see, what all can she do? Well, she's been walking for a few months now. She can run and climb. She is always trying to climb on things. She can say, "mama" "dada" "all done" "dog" "mawmaw" "pawpaw" "juice" and "orange juice". She is our messy child. She always has some form of juice or food on her clothes and in her hair. I can't seem to keep her clean. She loves cheerios and goldfish, and she really likes to pour them on the floor and step on them. So much fun for mom & dad!

Carnival

We went to a carnival in Natchez, MS for the balloon festival weekend. Izzy had a ball! She loved the cars and would cry when would take her off. I think she rode in a circle about 100 times. It was tons of fun!!

Laundry time!

The girls LOVE to help mommy do the laundry. I wonder how clean the clothes really are after they've helped?

Halloween 2008

Chick or Treat! Iz & Em were chicks for Halloween this year. They were so big and fluffy! We went to LSU's Sorority Row to go trick or treating and it was so much fun. The girls started off in the wagon and then they would get out to go to the houses. By the end of the night Izzy was pulling Emma in the wagon. They each had about 20 lollipops before I cut them off. We also went to the St. James Halloween Carnival. That was a lot of fun too, but I think the girls are a little too young for that type of carnival. Maybe next year. On Halloween night we handed out candy with our neighbors. Izzy wanted to hand it out by herself. She would say the same thing to every kid that came, "Trick or treat, put it in your bucket, Happy Halloween, bye bye!" It was really funny.

Izzy's School Picnic

Matt & I went to a picnic at Izzy's school in October. It was so much fun to see all the kids and parents sitting on blankets on the playground having a picnic. The kids quickly left their parents to play on the playground. So Matt & I basically had a picnic by ourselves. We thought it was pretty funny. It was sort of like the kids were showing off for their parents on the playground, like that was their territory and we were just visiting. Izzy was so excited to see us and show us everything she could do. What a fun day.
