Almost 5 months

Here's a quick update: Izzy is getting so big!! She loves playing in her megasaucer and her jumpster. She tries to start jumping before I can get her in it. She also plays with the toys on both now. She is becoming very vocal. She loves to scream...she thinks it's hilarious. She can almost sit up by herself and she likes playing on her stomach now. We have started rice cereal which she has decided she doesn't like at all! And I've tried oatmeal which she really doesn't care for either. She's still sleeping through the night and taking 3 naps a day. She's just so much FUN!!!

4 1/2 months old

4 Month Check-up

Yesterday was Izzy's 4 month checkup. She now weighs 12 lb 4 oz and is in the 50th percentile for weight. She is 23 1/2 inches long, which is also the 50th percentile for height, and her head is in the 10th percentile...she has a baby head. She had to get 3 more shots which she was not very happy about, and boy did she let me know it. She cried for 15 minutes straight on the car ride home until she finally conked out. Dr. Yukon said that we can start rice cereal once she is taking 30-32 oz of formula a day. Right now she is only taking 25 oz. We go back on March 1st for another checkup and more shots!

Now that she is 4 months old, here is a list of everything she can do:
laugh, blow bubbles, grab objects, bat at objects, roll from stomach to back, tries to hold her bottle, sleeps from 7:15-7:30, takes 3 naps, babbles. suck her thumb and anything that is attached to her hand, she loves to lick books, pull up on my fingers to a standing position, she sat up by herself for 5 seconds the other day, and she LOVES watching football with daddy!
