Christmas 2006

Isabelle's first Christmas was wonderful! We spent Christmas in Baton Rouge at Becca's house with the whole family. Of course Izzy had no clue what was going on, so really it was all for me and Matt...really just me! We went to church on Christmas eve. Izzy was very well behaved until they sang "Away in a Manger"..that's when she took it upon herself to add some crying to the song. We were off schedule all day and it finally caught up with her around 7 pm. She was not a happy camper. On a normal day she wakes up around 7:30am...well, on Christmas morning she slept until 10am! We had to check her pulse several times just to make sure she was ok. I couldn't stand it. I was so excited about Santa and her cousins had already been up for hours playing with their new toys. Santa was very good to Izzy. He brought her some new books and teething toys. She got her very first LSU t-shirt too. He also brought her a purple elephant rocking horse..well, actually aunt Courtney and uncle Patrick got that for her, but it just looked so cute with all of her Santa stuff. Speaking of Aunt Courtney, she bought matching Pj's for the kids. They all looked so cute in their light blue pj's with Santa all over the pants and one Santa on the shirt. They fit Izzy perfectly! We had a really great day! I took tons of pictures and captured every moment. We gave her a megasaucer. She is still a little too small for it, but she'll be big enough very soon. We measured her at Mamaw & Papaw Horne's, and she has grown an inch since we measured her at Thanksgiving. It's amazing how fast she is growing. Christmas was great, but we are very glad to be back at our house!

Christmas Card 2006

These are the pictures I used on our Christmas card this year!

These pictures were taken when I was trying to get a Christmas card picture. She had more fun playing with the tissue paper. You can tell she finally had enough of the photo session...I never thought my 3 month old would stick her tongue out at me!

16 Weeks Old

Izzy loves to sit with us while we eat dinner every night. She sits quietly while we discuss our day and enjoy dinner. I've noticed that she's been trying to put her feet on the table lately. Well as you can see she finally did it the other night. She was just so proud of herself. We will definately work on her table manners when she gets a little older. Right now she's just too darn cute to tell her not to.

15 Weeks Old

Here are two pictures of Izzy at 15 weeks old. In the first pic she is watching TV. What a teenage pose. It's hard to believe she's only 3 1/2 months old. I took the other picture one morning when I went to get her out of bed and she just looked so silly I had to get the camera.
